- Manage company investments and identify potential financial risks and opportunities and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Establish internal controls and audit processes through reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Prepare and provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action and areas for improvement.
- Analyze costs, budget, pricing, variable contributions, sales results to determine the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans and adjust if needed.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s annual budget.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Oversee the allocation of resources across departments.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken to achieve organization objectives.
- Review the Value added Tax VAT and Corporation tax Monthly.
- Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis as indicated by the monthly closing schedule.
- Review the taxable invoices on the portal of electronic invoices.
- Manage the general accounting functions accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Responsible for the entire group related to IFRS accounting expertise and guide the finance team on compliancy, accuracy towards the IFRS accounting principles.
A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.Experience not less than 5 years in Managerial positions and a total of a minimum of 10+ years experience.Excellent presentation skills, problem-solving and analytical skills.Related field experience in Engineering or Construction is a must.
