Job Description:
As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all branch operations, managing teams, and ensuring the seamless execution of logistics and import-export activities. You will lead strategic initiatives, build client relationships, and optimize processes to achieve profitability and growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee daily operations of the branch, including logistics, warehousing, and import-export activities.
• Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to enhance customer satisfaction and service delivery.
• Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and manage cost controls to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify market trends and opportunities, developing strategies to expand service offerings and market reach.
• Handle conflict resolution, risk management, and problem-solving to address operational challenges.
Requirements: • Master’s / bachelor degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).• 7 to 12 years of experience in the import-export and logistics industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, international trade laws, and logistics best practices.• Proven track record of achieving operational and financial targets.• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.• Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office Suite.
