- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in diesel and gasoline powered vehicles.
- Perform a wide range of repairs, including engine and transmission overhauls, brake system repairs, suspension work, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Conduct preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and established protocols.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend solutions.
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle, ensuring clear documentation of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, answer questions, and provide updates on progress.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Bachelor's degree in Automotive Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience working on diesel and gasoline powered vehicles.Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, electrical systems, and automotive mechanics.Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A valid driver's license is preferred.
