- Participate in regular physical inventory counts and audits to ensure stock accuracy. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Generate and maintain reports on stock levels, returns, and inventory turnover. Provide regular updates to management regarding stock status and potential issues.
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across all product categories. Ensure that inventory is regularly updated and that stock discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Follow up with the Process returns of defective or damaged items, inspecting and testing products to determine whether they can be restocked, repaired, or need to be disposed of Ensure returned products are logged and tracked in the inventory management system.
- For any returned products, perform necessary tests to assess functionality or quality issues. Coordinate with the operation for defective items that cannot be resold.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet customer demand. Forecast and replenish stock to avoid shortages.
- Handle any damaged goods or stock that cannot be resold, ensuring that these items are properly documented, disposed of, or sent back
- Maintain detailed records of all returns, stock movements, and adjustments. Ensure that the inventory system reflects accurate data.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in stock management.
