Operations Specialist - Startup Factory

Role Overview:
As an Operations Specialist at Startup Factory, you’ll be an integral part of the team, ensuring the smooth operation of our startup accelerator programs. Your primary focus will be on optimizing internal workflows, managing resources, coordinating events, and supporting the operational needs of the programs. You’ll play a key role in making sure everything runs seamlessly, so our entrepreneurs and mentors can focus on what matters most—building successful ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations: Ensure smooth execution of day-to-day activities for the Fintekrs, PropteX, and Logivators programs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas to improve efficiency and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations.
  • Event Coordination: Help plan and manage logistics for events like boot camps, workshops, and demo days.
  • Resource Management: Ensure startups and mentors have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
  • Data Tracking: Maintain records, track key metrics, and assist in reporting program performance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, mentors, and participants, addressing operational issues as they arise.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly resolve any operational challenges or issues to keep the program on track.

Required Qualifications:2-4 years of experience in operations, project management, or a similar role, preferably within startup ecosystems, incubators, or accelerators.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams and stakeholders.Proficiency in office tools (MS Office, Google Workspace) and project management platforms (e.g., Clickup, Asana).A proactive, solution-oriented approach to operational challenges.Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).Preferred Qualifications:Experience in event planning and coordination, especially for corporate or startup-related events.Familiarity with CRM or database management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho).Basic knowledge of financial management and budgeting for events and resources.A degree in Business, Operations, or a related field.
