Human Resource Business Partner

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resource Business Partner to support our HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. The Human Resource Business Partner will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping us plan and administer essential functions such as staffing, training, compensation, and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding Process: Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires, coordinating with various departments.
  • Employee Enquiries: Respond promptly and effectively to employee enquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate HR records and systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Fulfill departmental hiring needs, from candidate sourcing to successful onboarding.
  • Policy Implementation: Support the communication and interpretation of HR policies across the organization.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Onboarding and Orientation: Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
     
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, orientation, and exit interviews, including data entry into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
     
  • Employee Relations: Provide effective HR advisory services to employees regarding absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational changes, and other employee relations matters.
     
  • Record Management: Track vacation/sick pay, process expense reimbursements, manage hourly employee validations, and handle benefit changes.
     
  • Policy Development: Assist in communicating, interpreting, and contributing to the development of company policies.
  • Recruitment Cycle: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Personnel Procedures and Legal Compliance: Develop and execute personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations and ensure compliance with state and labor regulations and applicable employment laws, updating policies and procedures as necessary.
  • HR Objectives and Systems: Contribute to the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
  • Benefits and Compensation: Administer benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest new procedures and policies to improve the efficiency of the HR department and enhance the employee experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of proven experience working in an HR department.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of ethics and cultural awareness.Additional HR training or certification is a plus.In-depth knowledge of HR labor laws and regulations.Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
