A Senior Motion Designer takes the lead in creating high-quality animations, visual effects, and motion graphics that align with the agency's creative direction and client goals. This role involves not only designing engaging motion content but also mentoring junior designers, collaborating on creative strategies, and ensuring smooth project delivery. The Senior Motion Designer brings advanced technical expertise, creativity, and leadership to produce visually captivating animations for various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Work hand-in-hand with the content team to concept and design ideas that can come to life across social media channels and web projects
- Design and create highly engaging complex animations and video content for various digital media platforms.
- Create and edit different video, movie and audio styles and formats
- Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements
- Participate in brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas
- Collaborate with internal team members to bring transformational business
- Assist in developing storyboards
- Participate in new business pitches (brainstorming sessions, presentations, generating Ideas) to grow overall agency business.
- Reviewing junior animators drafts/work to ensure high quality.
- Delegating tasks and providing support for junior members of the team.
- Collaborating across the agency to drive up standards of digital creativity
- Research new animation software, Plugins and Transitions and share it with other team members.
- Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects
- Stay up to date with latest market trends and transform it into interactive animated designs
- Responsible for training and developing other team members in the use of animation and motion graphic software and guidelines.
- Take initiative on projects to over-deliver new and innovative solutions
5 years of proven work experience in a motion graphic and animation design roleExperience with motion design software (e.g Aftereffect) and graphics editing tools (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator Adobe Premiere and (XD is a plus)A strong portfolio that demonstrates strong understanding of motion graphic.Demonstrated ability to tell stories and communicate concepts with easy-to-understand visualsExcellent communication skills, ability to clearly explain design concepts and solutions and accept constructive feedbackAbility to work in a cross-functional environment & manage intensive workloadAbility to hit the ground running and work in a fast-paced environment
