- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize measuring tools and equipment to assess dimensions, finishes, and overall product quality.
- Perform testing on materials and finished products to evaluate durability, safety, and performance.
- Document test results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
- Assist in the preparation of quality reports for management review.
- Identify defects or non-conformities in products and determine root causes.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
- Provide feedback on production processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that all products comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Stay informed about changes in quality regulations and best practices relevant to the furniture industry.
- Work closely with design, production, and supply chain teams to address quality concerns and ensure alignment on quality expectations.
- Assist in training production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Review customer feedback related to product quality and collaborate with relevant teams to address concerns.
- Help implement processes for incorporating customer insights into product development.
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance within the furniture manufacturing industry or similar field.Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.
