1. Examine all financial transactions and records to ensure they are accurately recorded in compliance with accounting standards.
2. Assess the company’s internal control systems to confirm the effectiveness of procedures in preventing errors, fraud, and mismanagement.
3. Review and analyze financial reports, including revenue and expense reports, to ensure cost-effective company operations.
4. Provide recommendations to enhance financial efficiency, improve internal processes, and strengthen controls based on audit findings.
5. Ensure organizational compliance with relevant financial, tax, and regulatory requirements, including local and international standards.
6. Prepare detailed reports summarizing audit activities and findings, which are presented to the board of directors.
-Previous experience in a similar field, with a background in financial auditing, internal controls, or compliance is highly preferred.-Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases-Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports-Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations-High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills-Sound independent judgement-bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
