- Produces schematic design development and construction documents as directed.
- Performs original design work utilizing specifications, sketches and ideas on developing designs.
- Reviews shop drawings, specifications, cost estimates and construction material recommendations submitted by outside architects and contractors to ensure adherence to contract
- Reviews work of contractor, verifying specified materials are being used, dimensions are as drawn, and quality is according to contract document.
- Manages processes relating to the project's design to ensure that everything is delivered to schedule and budget, working very closely with estimators, quantity surveyors, site managers and other key members of the project team
- Leads the entire design team throughout the design stages (Post Concept Design Stage)
- Communicates with all involved parties and materials suppliers.
- Coordinates with all projects stakeholders.
- Manages the project and architectural resource planning for the project and report project needs to senior team members. (Including coordination of pipeline works)
- Monitor and Facilitate initiatives to develop design manuals, standard design documents, presentations, etc. to increase efficiencies, knowledge and awareness across the wider architectural community.
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or the equivalent.A minimum of 15 years of experience in equivalent position in interior/exterior design.Very good command with engineering software (AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketchup and Vray/Lumion)Strong computer drafting and rendering skillsStrong organization and follow up skills including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet all deadlines and commitments.Very good communication skills along with good or developing skills.Very good MS office skills.
