The MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Manager will lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of high-quality meetings, incentives, conferences, and events. This role involves managing a team, ensuring client satisfaction, and establishing effective relationships with suppliers to deliver seamless and impactful experiences for diverse clientele.
We Seek to recruit a MICE Manager, who will:
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of MICE coordinators and counsellors, ensuring timely response to client needs and support in all project stages.
- Event Planning and Coordination: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of various MICE events, including cycle meetings, standalone events, product launches, and workshops, often catering to large audiences of up to 1000 participants.
- Event Marketing: Create marketing materials such as info books, welcome letters, and excursion boards for clients, ensuring clear communication of event details.
- Client and Supplier Relations: Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients and suppliers, handling venue selections, inspection trips, and negotiation of services and costs to ensure client satisfaction.
- Budget and Financial Management: Responsible for budgeting and managing event costs, securing cost-effective solutions while meeting client expectations.
- Project Management: Organize and manage all elements of event logistics, including accommodations, itineraries, invoicing, and document handling, from the initial inquiry to event completion.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures, particularly within the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, while documenting all client interactions, contracts, and relevant financial transactions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business, or a related field.Experience:3-5 years in the MICE industry, with progressive experience in event planning, account management, or a related role.Proven experience in managing both large-scale and small events.Skills:Strong communication and negotiation skills to build lasting relationships with clients and vendors.Excellent team leadership and motivational abilities.Proficiency in using event management and front-office systems (e.g., Cvent, Fidelio, Opera).Time management, organization, and problem-solving skills to handle multiple projects.Command over English, with additional language skills (Arabic, German, French) being advantageous.
