- Develop a growth strategy centred on expanding the company’s footprint in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and event management industry, with a focus on revenue growth, client acquisition, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify new markets and industry trends within the MICE sector, including potential opportunities in conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events.
- Proactively arrange and lead business meetings with prospective clients from corporate, association, and government sectors, presenting tailored event solutions.
- Promote the company’s full suite of MICE services—such as conference management, incentive programs, exhibition design, and event logistics—aligned with clients’ objectives.
- Draft and manage sales contracts, ensuring compliance with MICE industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain thorough records of sales, revenue, proposals, and invoices, while monitoring KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Deliver consistent and reliable post-event support and feedback sessions to enhance client satisfaction and nurture long-term partnerships.
- Foster long-term relationships with new and existing clients, establishing the company as a preferred provider for MICE services.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, instilling knowledge of best practices and sales techniques within the MICE industry.
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar role, with a strong background in MICE, event management, or conference and exhibition services.Demonstrated success in sales, client development, and securing large-scale events in the MICE sector.Familiarity with the MICE industry, including knowledge of key trends, client requirements, and competitive landscape.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex event solutions.Ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients from diverse sectors, including corporate, government, and associations.Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and deadlines effectively.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous, particularly for engaging international clients.
