• Job Summary:

-To provide safe and secure environment for ASSIH through performing work in a broad range of hospital safety elements, such as: inspections/surveys, evaluations, mishap investigations and be a part of an emergency response team, and follow the instructions of his supervisor with the above scope of work.

- Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, in order to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations substances. Identify areas for potential accident and health hazards and implement appropriate control measures.

• Responsibilities & Duties:
  - Interpret and enforce regulations of the occupational safety Egyptian law.
  - Perform periodic facility safety round based on a pre-prepared checklist
  - Conduct regular safety rounds in the construction and renovation areas based on the pre-prepared checklist
  - Identify areas for follow-up and prepare an action plan for implementation and follow-up the action plan.
  - Maintain inventories of hazardous materials and hazardous wastes and ensure that materials are handled properly.
  - Investigate accidents to identify causes and to determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future.
  - Record and report hazards, accidents, injuries and health issues within the workplace
  - Assist in HSE tasks/projects as required.
  - Prepare monthly reports on findings and corrective measures and conduct regular safety reports to FMS committees
  - Obtains statements from witnesses, photographs mishap scene, records circumstances of mishap and extent of injuries, estimates cost of property damage, and prepares a formal report of findings.
  - Participate in annually risk assessment.
  - Make sure that personal protective equipment, such as hearing protection, dust masks, safety glasses, footwear and safety helmets, is being used in workplaces according to regulations
  -- Conduct on job safety training (OJT) sessions for employees and education programs, and demonstrate the use of safety equipment based on training plan.
  - To be present during emptying of trucks containing flammable materials (Solar - Oxygen) and be ready to extinguish the fire.
  - Stops any operation that is of imminent danger to personnel or property.
  - Participate in the annual evaluation of Fire, HAZMAT , Construction and safety plans
  - Other duties as assigned.
  - Applying HACCP plan as the following:
  1- Follow up and update environmental safety issues related to HACCP plan
  2- Update regulation of safety in kitchen
  - Applying environmental management system (14001-2015) as followings :
  1- Participate in the multidisciplinary environmental round
  2- General safety rounds including hazards material
