PR Manager

• Extensive Media Relations: Collaborate with PR agencies and engage with reporters to pitch stories, manage inquiries, and proactively monitor the media landscape to strategically shape OPPO's narrative. Must be aware of the local media landscape specially in tech industry.
• Proactive Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a proactive communications plan that consistently highlights key business areas. Design internal and external communication campaigns that align with OPPO’s strategic objectives. Create and implement a media engagement strategy to connect with key media, policy stakeholders, and influencers. Produce a variety of content and communication materials, including opinion pieces, blogs, video packages, press releases, messaging guidelines, and presentations.
• Cross-Functional Support: Act as the PR point of contact for designated functions, ensuring effective information sharing across teams to support internal initiatives and capitalize on earned media opportunities. Provide insights to the Marketing team to refine the strategic narrative for the brand.
• Content Development: Create and edit press releases, articles, blogs, and other communication materials that align with the brand's messaging and objectives.
• Project Management: Lead and coordinate key projects & Offline events, plans, calendars, and insights with team members.
• Event Management: Create and manage events, including promotional activities, sponsorship opportunities, and attendance at conferences. Engage with stakeholders and media to maximize visibility and impact.
• Production Oversight: Collaborate on the production of promotional materials and multimedia content, ensuring alignment with brand standards and messaging.
Crisis Management: Monitor the sentiment surrounding our corporate communication, manage PR crises, and mitigate negative sentiment to protect OPPO's brand image while building a strong reputation.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track media coverage and analyze the effectiveness of PR efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.


Skills Match:• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills English and arabic, with strong copywriting, content creation, and editing abilities. Must be knowledgeable about the latest industry trends and adept at integrating them into strategic content.• Proven ability to develop and implement successful strategic communications plans, demonstrating measurable outcomes from previous initiatives.• Excellent presentation and advisory skills, with the capability to provide meaningful insights to senior leaders on communication strategies in a timely manner.• Established relationships with key media and the ability to cultivate connections with journalists Tech bloggers and social media influencers.• Ability to work under pressure, handle more than one project at a time, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities; must be flexible and versatile.• Strong project management skills, with the capability to organize work meticulously while thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. A self-starter eager to grow and make a significant impact.- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.- A minimum of 5 years of experience in communications within the PR and communications field. Experience at a PR agency and in the smartphone or smart device industry is a significant advantage.
