Job Summary
Responsible for managing design processes, coordinating with consultants, and maintaining expertise in senior living trends to drive innovative and informed design solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Lead the design process from initial concept development through to construction document creation.
· Ensure all designs adhere to QWELL principles, promoting environments that enhance well-being and independence for older adults.
· Manage and collaborate with consultants (construction, design, and implementation) throughout the project lifecycle.
· Conduct regular site visits and maintain open communication with consultants to ensure project goals are met.
· Utilize online tools and communication methods for efficient project coordination.
· Follow up on leads generated through QWELL’s online advertisements, managed by the marketing team.
· Qualify leads by phone, determining their interest in purchasing furniture or obtaining design services for specific areas in their home.
· Schedule in-home consultations for qualified leads, as requested.
· Facilitate the next steps in the customer journey after the initial inquiry.
· Collaborate with the Development Director to create comprehensive presentations for new projects.
· Incorporate unique design elements or novel sales strategies to differentiate each developer’s proposal.
· Monitor and gather the latest research and trends related to elderly living and QWELL principles.
· Share this knowledge through monthly presentations to the research and development team, ensuring that design solutions remain informed by the latest data.
· Collaborate with the team to integrate QWELL principles and best practices into the design process.
· Research and curate relevant information on senior living space organization, adhering to QWELL principles and best practices.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to translate research into engaging social media content.
· Provide ongoing support to the marketing team by keeping them informed of the latest trends and research in senior living design.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
Experience
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design
Skills
· Excellent English level.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Strong leadership and project management skills
· Expertise in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for client interactions and team collaboration.
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Knowledge of senior living design principles and trends, especially QWELL principles.
· Creativity and innovation in design and problem-solving.
· Ability to research, interpret data, and present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
