The HR Manager will lead and oversee the human resources functions for Digital School by Berlitz,
ensuring efficient recruitment, development, and management of the HR department. This individual
will play a critical role in shaping the organization’s culture and ensuring compliance with labor laws and
regulations. The HR Manager will also be responsible for creating job descriptions, hiring team members, and implementing HR policies aligned with the business's objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various roles, including
instructors, admin, marketing, sales and management positions.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.


HR Strategy & Planning:
• Collaborate with senior management to define and implement an HR strategy that supports the growth and expansion of Digital School by Berlitz.
• Design and maintain organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession planning processes.


Employee Relations:
• Act as the point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving workplace conflicts.
• Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives, employee feedback, and
performance management.


Compensation & Benefits:
• Develop and administer compensation, benefits, and rewards programs to attract and retain talent.
• Ensure that compensation structures comply with local regulations and remain competitive within the industry.


Training & Development:
• Oversee the design and implementation of employee training programs, including onboarding,
leadership development, and technical skill-building.
• Identify individual and organizational training needs and collaborate with management to fulfill them.


Policy Development & Compliance:
• Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and
regulations.
• Ensure all employment practices meet Digital School by Berlitz’s standards and local legal requirements.


Performance Management:
• Implement performance appraisal systems and provide guidance to managers on how to evaluate employee performance effectively.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by developing frameworks for assessing productivity and performance.


Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).• 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.• Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance.• Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on conflict resolution and employee engagement.• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced, growing environment.• Experience in the education sector is a plus.
