Purpose of the position:
Product Specialist is responsible to promote and sell the company's products. Customers can include doctors, hospitals, nurses and pharmacists. Product Specialist will increase product awareness, answer queries, provide advice and introduce new products.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Organizes appointments and meetings with community, hospital-based and pharmacy healthcare staff.
- Identifies and establishing new business.
- Negotiates contracts.
- Demonstrates or presents products to healthcare staff including doctors, nurses’ pharmacists and distributor’s staff.
- Meeting both the business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals.
- Maintains detailed records of the company customers in his territory.
- Attends and organizing trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
- Manages budgets.
- Review sales performance.
- Write reports and other documents.
- Monitors target market (client & potential client) preferences, industry business developments, market trends to determine required focus of sales and marketing efforts to achieve company objectives.
- Resolves customer complaints regarding services and maintain strong reference base of clients leveraging knowledge gained through The company satisfaction surveys and other feedback mechanism.
- Maintains client relationship and assume responsibility, identify, negotiate and manage relationships with clients whose objectives, product & service offerings complement the organization short and long term vision.
- Generates ideas and initiatives that capitalize on existing and prospective partner strengths to drive additional benefit to the company portfolio.
- Develops and deploys a training program for clients and conduct regular meetings with clients tackling issues as they arise.
- Examines competitors closely in terms of their procedures, relations to align business development strategy regarding market changes, demands and needs
Requirements and qualifications:Previous working experience in hospital private / governmental, Hospital and distributors in promotion, tendering and commercial activities for 3-5 years.Age does not exceed 28.Exempted Military Status.Valid Driving LicenseOwns a car Strong communication, presentation & negotiation skills.Pharmacist with min. 3 years’ experience.
