Summary:
The Technical Office Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the technical operations of our projects. This position involves preparing and managing technical documentation, coordinating with project managers and engineers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Job Description:
- Review and study projects specs and prepare the technical offers accordingly.
- Prepare and review technical data including drawings, specifications, and reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with sales team to develop project plans and schedules.
- Monitor projects progress and identify potential issues or delays, proactively taking corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that installation activities are carried out according to plans and specifications.
- Review and approve sub-contractor submittals, including shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source and select materials and equipment that meet our commitments with our customer’s specifications and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates
- Provide technical support and guidance to sales team.
- Keep up to date with industry advancements and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and improve work efficiency.
- Participate in performance meetings and communicate project progress, issues, and solutions to sales heads
Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.3-5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically with generators.Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
