Sr. Operations Specialist (Hospitality background)

EgyBell is hiring Operation Manager for one of the leading furniture manufacturing companies in the Middle East and Africa


As an Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will involve implementing, adapting, and continually improving our business systems and processes within the city. You will play a key role in ensuring our properties are ready for occupancy in a timely manner, overseeing third-party contractors and 3PL companies, and maintaining seamless operations across the team.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Oversee all the housekeeping, maintenance and laundry requirements of the units
  • Liaise with the Client Experience team to ensure satisfactory resolution to all guest issues
  • Style and manage photoshoots for new apartments, ensuring spaces align with photoshoot guidelines.
  • Drive operational cost reduction and propose process improvement while maintaining quality standards.
  • Manage, liaise, and negotiate with contractors, vendors, and external business partners to ensure a high standard of client experience for our guests.
  • Effectively manage the city inventory of furniture, consumables, and linens, optimizing safety stocks and reporting malfunctions to the Design and Supply Chain teams.
  • Lead timely data collection to update operational metrics, achieving productivity targets, reducing cost per unit, eliminating errors, and delivering excellent customer service.


Requirements:


  • 3-6 years of progressive work experience, preferably in business operations or services within a startup, SME, or large corporation.
  • Background in the housekeeping department of a hotel is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Results-oriented individual with excellent multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Significant project management experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office; experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Guest-centric mindset.
  • Team player and creative thinker.
  • Team management experience, preferably in field operations, is considered a plus.
