Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and innovative architectural concepts, designs, and drawings.
- Coordinate and drive all phases of design from initial concept to construction documents, ensuring adherence to project program, creative intent, and schedule.
- Collaborate with project managers and production team to ensure accurate design plans and seamless project execution.
- Manage all company-offered services including space planning, schematic design, design development, and furniture and finish selection.
- Effectively communicate design vision and aesthetic to junior staff members, overseeing design team progress and timelines.
- Create and maintain budgets for each project, evaluating scope, feasibility, staffing, scheduling, and budget requirements of each project.
- Oversee integration of design services and furniture specifications to ensure comprehensive project planning and execution.
- Source products/services, prepare proposals for client presentations, and verify proposals created by the design team.
- Prepare and maintain design plan documents, including finish schedules, specifications, and product/room matrixes.
- Oversee project timelines and maintain communication with stakeholders regarding project progress and orders.
- Possess solid aesthetic sensibilities and storytelling skills to facilitate positive and productive communication between all disciplines.
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of project design philosophy and provide input in developing design strategies relative to assigned tasks or areas of responsibility.
Qualifications:BS degree in architecture, and/or master's degree is required. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in architectural design and project management. Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign and AutoCAD. Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
