Educational RequirementsBC. Degree in Medicine, Dental, Pharmacy, or Science.Experience RequirementsFrom 1 to 3 years of experience in a hospital or multi-disciplinary healthcare facility doing medical audio transcription or its equivalent .Knowledge, Skills and AttitudeKnowledge of patient care charts and patients' history. Ability to analyze complex medical records. Advanced knowledge of medical coding procedures, systems and regulatory issues within a specified area of medical specialty. Medical typewriting at 30 wpm with 85% accuracy before editing and 100% accuracy after editing. Knowledge of variety of basic office functions. A thorough knowledge of medical terminology, including laboratory tests, instruments, English grammar composition, spelling, and abbreviations. Equipment Operated: Computer and good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PPT. Languages: Proficiency both in English and Arabic is preferred.
