- Responsible for the full-time direction of the project site team’s activities, reporting to the construction director-CD-for guidance as necessary.
- Have a signature for all in going communications and direct communication with the PM.
- Execute works in compliance with contract specs, project design and as within approved base line.
- Ensure all contract documents, work and quality procedures are in latest approved revision.
- Coordinate all jobsite activities including actions of VK, subcontractors, suppliers, PM and client from commencement to close out of the project.
- Ensure the site team is composed of qualified and knowledgeable personnel and ensures they have been effectively utilized.
- Coordinate and manage approved construction methods, shop drawings, material and equipment requirements.
- Coordinate with contractor to identify, where possible, the construction solutions, methodologies.
- Maintains client relationship as primary contact for client’s communication with field activities.
- Maintain an effective relation with other functional departments in VK office.
- Represents role model ethically & technically for his team and a good image for the firm.
