We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and extensive experience in AutoCAD, Solidworks, and ANSYS.  This role requires a hands-on individual with practical experience in fabrication and machining workshop execution activities.  You will play a key role in the design, development, and documentation of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.

Responsibilities:

Design and Drafting:

Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.

Develop and maintain accurate engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and technical specifications.

Stress Analysis by ANSYS, or FEA :

Perform structural and stress analysis using ANSYS to validate designs and identify potential issues.

Analyze simulation results and recommend design modifications.

Workshop Execution:

Collaborate closely with fabrication and machining workshop teams to ensure designs are accurately translated into physical components.

Provide technical support to the workshop team during the manufacturing process.

Assist with troubleshooting issues related to fabrication and machining.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including design revisions, test results, and technical reports.

Create presentations and reports to communicate technical information to colleagues and stakeholders.

Project Management:

Contribute to project planning and execution by providing technical expertise and support.

Assist with the coordination of resources and timelines for design and manufacturing activities.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and software updates.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
