The ideal Candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring that all work is completed according to design, specifications, and standards.
Main job duties and responsibilities:
- Directly handle and follow up the progress installation, testing, and commissioning of all electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and communication systems.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
- Coordinating with other engineers, architects, and Civil to ensure the seamless integration of electrical systems
- Ensure that all electrical work meets the required specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies encountered during installation or operation.
- Conduct on-site inspections and ensure the quality of electrical installations.
- Participate in the planning with developing detailed CPM schedules and coordination of electrical activities on-site, working closely with other engineering disciplines and contractors.
- Assist in the development of project timelines and schedules for electrical work.
- Ensure the timely delivery of electrical components and materials needed for the project.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source electrical equipment and materials.
- Provide technical guidance and support to site workers and contractors during the installation and testing phases.
- Ensure compliance with local and international codes, standards, and regulations in all electrical engineering tasks.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation related to on-site electrical work.
- Perform quality checks on electrical installations to ensure adherence to design specifications and project requirements.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment on-site.
- Monitor and record the progress of electrical work and report any deviations from the project plan.
- Supervise review and coordination of submittals and shop drawings
Educational background and previous experience:
- Bachelor’s degree of Electrical Engineering.
- Min. 5 years’ experience in the same field.
