Job Description:
As an HVAC Design Engineer, you be responsible for designing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for various buildings and facilities. The primary responsibilities revolve around designing efficient HVAC systems that meet client requirements, building codes, and industry standards. This role involves technical expertise, collaboration with architects and other MEP teams, and a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
  2. Collaborating with architects, mechanical engineers, and clients to understand project requirements.
  3. Conducting load calculations to determine heating and cooling requirements.
  4. Selecting appropriate HVAC equipment, components, and materials.
  5. Creating detailed HVAC system layouts, ductwork designs, and specifications.
  6. Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  7. Performing energy efficiency analysis and recommending sustainable design solutions.
  8. Reviewing and approving HVAC designs, drawings, and documentation.
  9. Conducting site visits and inspections to assess HVAC system installations.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Proven experience in HVAC system design and engineering.Proficiency in HVAC design software. Proficiency in drafting software.Proficiency in Revit is required. Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, equipment, and systems.Familiarity with building codes, energy codes, and industry standards.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Commitment to staying updated on HVAC technology and trends.
