Branding Graphic Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing department. The successful candidate will report to the Art Director and will be responsible for developing compelling visual content that supports our marketing campaigns, private label designs, in-store elements, and overall brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Design:
    • Develop artwork for marketing campaigns, including key visuals, promotional materials, and advertising assets.
    • Design packaging and artwork for private label products across both food and non-food categories.
    • Create in-store visual elements such as signage, banners, point-of-sale materials, and displays.
  • Brand Consistency:
    • Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across all platforms.
    • Collaborate with the Art Director to refine and evolve brand identity elements.
  • Project Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements and objectives.
    • Collaborate with copywriters, marketing strategists, and other team members to produce cohesive and effective marketing materials.
  • Digital Content Creation:
    • Design digital assets for social media, email marketing, and the company website.
    • Optimize graphics and creatives for various digital platforms and devices.
  • Production Preparation:
    • Prepare final artwork for print and digital production, ensuring all files meet technical specifications.
    • Liaise with printers and production vendors to ensure quality and accuracy of produced materials.
  • Innovation and Trends:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and software advancements.
    • Bring fresh ideas and creative approaches to design projects.
  • Time Management:
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
    • Prioritize tasks in coordination with the Art Director and project timelines.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects, including marketing campaigns and packaging design.
  • Skills:
    • Design Proficiency:
      • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
      • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Familiarity with print production processes and requirements.
      • Basic knowledge of digital design and optimization for web and social media.
    • Creativity:
      • Ability to generate original ideas and visual concepts.
      • Keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
    • Communication Skills:
      • Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
      • Ability to interpret briefs and present design concepts clearly.
    • Organizational Skills:
      • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
      • Capacity to handle multiple projects and adjust priorities as needed.
    • Collaboration:
      • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
      • Open to feedback and able to incorporate suggestions into designs.
