Job Summary: The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management, managing a specific section or module within the ERP system, such as finance, HR, supply chain, etc. - Ensure the ERP system is configured to support the specific needs of their section.
- Oversee the data entry, validation, and maintenance within their section or module.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across the ERP system.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users within their section or module.
- Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot any issues related to their section or module.
- Collaborate with the ERP Manager to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs.
- Generate and analyze reports specific to their section or module.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support decision-making.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with other section heads and the ERP Manager to ensure the seamless integration of their section or module with the overall ERP system.
- Communicate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address any issues or concerns.
System Administration and Coordination: - Oversee and execute on-going maintenance and improvement projects.
- Brief departments heads and data “owners” on data and system corrections.
- Coordinate across Business Administration and system users the creation of new reports, dashboards, analytical tools.
- Manage Change Management requests, approvals and tracking process.
- Manage and track the status of all system changes, tests, and upgrades tasks.
- Advise on communications to the organization about system upgrades or functionality.
- Ensure documentation, such as training guides, procedures, and test scripts, are maintained and regularly updated.
- Coordinates and collaborates with the ERP Manager and other section heads to ensure the smooth functioning of their specific section or module within the overall ERP system.
User Support and Experience: - Research and survey end user needs.
- Organize training and promote the use and education of ERP across the organization.
- In coordination with core business units, lead the design and development of documentation and end user quick guides as needed.
- Manage the process of designing, creating, implementing, and maintaining. dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.
- Review Help Tickets, complaints, and recommendations from end users.
