- Ensure that all procedures, processes, and products align with the pharmacy’s strategic goals for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Regularly review and update the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet regulatory and business requirements.
- Conduct regular audits on all pharmacy products, including over-the-counter medications, cosmetics, supplements, and controlled substances, ensuring adherence to safety standards by Monitoring for expired product recalls
- Ensure full compliance with pharmacy regulations regarding product safety, dispensing practices, controlled substances, and customer service.
- Establish systems for collecting customer feedback and handling complaints related to product quality, service, or staff behavior.
- Investigate customer complaints regarding dispensing errors or product issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Train staff in customer service techniques, focusing on complaint handling, de-escalation strategies, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Perform regular process audits to identify inefficiencies or gaps in operations, focusing on areas such as stock management, product dispensing, customer service, and employee performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, Quality Management, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance similar roleStrong knowledge of pharmacy regulatory requirements.Experience in conducting audits, managing compliance programs, and overseeing QMS implementation.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and guide staff on quality standards.Effective communicator with both staff and customers, particularly in handling complaints and resolving issues.
