Sales Director

  1. Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and communicate the organization’s sales strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to ensure sales initiatives support long-term growth.
  2. Team Leadership and Management:
    • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
    • Set and monitor individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
  3. Sales Planning and Forecasting:
    • Develop sales plans, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Lead efforts to retain and expand existing customer accounts.
  5. New Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, products, and services.
    • Oversee the development of proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure new business deals.
  6. Sales Process Optimization:
    • Analyze and improve sales processes and workflows to maximize efficiency.
    • Implement sales automation tools and technologies as needed.
  7. Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
    • Use data to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  8. Sales Reporting and Analytics:
    • Develop and maintain accurate sales reports and dashboards.
    • Provide regular reports on sales performance to the executive team.
  9. Sales Training and Development:
    • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
  10. Budget Management:
    • Manage the sales budget, allocate resources effectively, and control expenses.
    • Ensure cost-effective sales operations.
  11. Sales and Marketing Alignment:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies and initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree engineering, business, (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).Proven experience in senior sales leadership roles, preferably as a Sales Director or similar position.
