As a Treasury Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing cash management, performing bank reconciliations, and managing daily treasury operations. The role also includes handling Letters of Guarantee (LG), Letters of Credit (LC), T-bills, time deposits, Forex transactions, and managing loans and interest charges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow records.
- Manage cash flow operations and maintain optimal liquidity levels.
- Handle daily treasury activities, including monitoring cash positions and bank balances.
- Manage and monitor Letters of Guarantee (LG) and Letters of Credit (LC).
- Process T-bills and time deposits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Review and validate bank charges and interest charges.
- Conduct Forex transactions and ensure the best rates are achieved.
- Assist in managing and monitoring loans, including repayments and interest tracking.
- Prepare regular reports on cash positions, bank balances, and treasury activities.
Education Required:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience Required:5-7 years of experience in treasury or accounting roles, preferably in a corporate setting.Knowledge Required:Strong knowledge of banking operations, cash management, and bank reconciliation.Experience with LGs, LCs, and Forex transactions.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills for effective coordination with banks and financial institutions.
