- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Coordinate and oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and maintain internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
- Lead and support audits, working closely with external auditors.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Strong knowledge of accounting software.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant tax laws/regulations.
