• Define the travel program to negotiate and manage contracts with service providers including hotels, airlines, transportation and travel agencies to ensure cost-effective and high-quality travel arrangements.
• Support the implementation and oversee the Concur travel and expense system to streamline travel bookings and expense reporting.
• Develop and execute cost-saving projects related to travel expenses.
• Generate KPIs and regular reports on travel spend and identify opportunities for further savings.
• Ensure compliance with company travel policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand travel needs and preferences.
• Stay updated with the latest travel industry trends and best practices.
• Handle travel emergencies or changes with efficiency and composure
• Provide standardization guidance and training to the dispatchers, travel coordinators and travelers in the centers.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, tourism, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Travel Manager or similar role, preferably within the Middle East and Africa region. • Strong understanding of travel procurement and contract management. • Experience with travel and expense management systems, particularly Concur. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, fluent in English. • Analytical mindset with strong reporting capabilities and commercial awareness • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Willingness to travel as required.
