Job Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Development, you will be working in a customer-focused, innovative, challenging and fun learning environment. You will work closely with our Development team and users to ensure high quality of our software tools producing various output formats optimized for accessibility, utilized by our customers' blind and low vision end-users.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain test plans and test specifications for functional, regression, user acceptance and performance testing
- Develop automated tests for new and existing functionality
- Conduct automated and manual testing
- Design and publish metrics to support automation test creation and execution
- Monitor release quality and make recommendations regarding risks and stability
- Research and recommend new test tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency
- Contribute to the team’s best practices and development standards

Qualifications and Skills:Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or relatedExperience with CI/CD practices, automated tests, builds, and deploymentsExperience with both automated and manual test strategiesExperience with UI and API automated testing frameworksKnowledge of performance evaluation strategies and testsExperience in testing cloud and desktop applicationsExperience with Windows environment and .NET frameworkExperience with cloud environment such as Azure, AWS or GCPUnderstanding applications from both technical and end-user perspectivesStaying current with software industry trends and best practicesSoft skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishStrong sense of teamwork and collaboration skillsHands-on attitude and willingness to get things done and flexibleAbility to own and self-manage daily tasksStrong analytical skillsNote : PLEASE DO NOT include your photo, date of birth or marital status!
