Job Purpose

Manages ALFA Lab non-medical maintenance activities including Maintenance Plans & Fulfillment, Maintenance Systems & SOPs and Maintenance AOP & Procurement to ensure business sustainability and quality & timely response

Accountabilities

Technical Accountabilities

Maintenance Plans & Fulfillment

  • Manages maintenance schedules and activities to ensure efficient resources allocations and deliver on business objectives. 2.Leads, trains, coaches and evaluates maintenance teams / technicians to boost the maintenance department capabilities and business response.
  • Carries out physical inspections to different locations of ALFA Lab to ensure maintenance plans fulfillment and reliability.

Maintenance Systems & SOPs

  • Develops, maintains and updates maintenance SOPs including to standardization and performance effectiveness & efficiency.5.Ensures proper implementation and efficient utilization of SAP – Facility Management / Maintenance Module to ensure proper automation and business reporting.

Maintenance AOP & Procurement

  • Participates in ALFA Lab AOP exercise by budgeting for the annual OPEX & CAPEX forecasts and develops periodical reports on the expenditures status against plans to meet the approved AOP.7.Participates with the Procurement team in assigning and evaluating vendors and contractors of all current and potential maintenance related requirements to ensure selection of best-fitting providers and securing all maintenance current and potential requirements.
  • Oversees, inspects, and approves tools, spare-parts, maintenance properties to ensure adherence to the business requirements.
  • Monitors equipment / spare parts / material inventory and places orders when necessary to make sure all the required parts are available on a timely manner with the proper quality.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSA's)

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical).2.At least 7 years of experience in the field of maintenance, 3 of them in a managerial position.
  • Strong Planning & Scheduling skills
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Strong SAP Experience – preferably implementation experience.
  • Professional skills in Arabic and English language both spoken and written
  • Professional communication, presentation and influencing skills.
