As a Technical Office Engineer for Water and Wastewater Projects, you will play a critical role in the planning, design, coordination, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and codes, and providing support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities for him/her will include: •Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications for water and wastewater projects using AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.•Conduct technical reviews and ensure the designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements, including Saudi Arabian and international water and wastewater standards (such as ASTM, AWWA, BS, and other relevant codes).•Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and design guidelines for water and wastewater infrastructure.•Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and external consultants to ensure the timely and accurate exchange of information.•Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and cost estimates.•Develop, track, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.•Review and approve contractor submittals, RFI responses, and project documentation.•Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, technical specifications, and change orders.•Assist in contract administration, including reviewing variation orders and verifying claims from contractors.•Provide technical support to the construction team, addressing design-related queries and solving construction challenges.•Conduct site visits to monitor the progress and quality of work, ensuring it aligns with the technical designs, specifications, and applicable codes.•Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on the project.
