Director of Marketing and Partnerships

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Marketing and Partnerships at de Backer's in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves overseeing all marketing operations, public relations, and strategic partnerships at de Backer's. This individual will spearhead the company’s rebranding launch, create comprehensive marketing plans, manage budget allocations, and lead the marketing team, including media buyers, social media agencies, and designers. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader with a proven track record in fashion brand management, data analysis, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities:

Rebranding Launch:

Develop and execute a detailed marketing plan for the company’s rebranding. This includes market research, competitor analysis, and creative campaign development.

Marketing Strategy & Planning:

Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that drive growth and enhance the company’s brand positioning across all platforms (digital, social media, e-commerce, and in-store).

Team Leadership:

Strategically lead the marketing team, including media buyers, social media managers, and the creative design team. Ensure cross-functional collaboration to achieve marketing objectives.

Budget Management:

Manage and allocate the marketing budget efficiently to ensure maximum ROI for all marketing initiatives. Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior leadership.

Public Relations & Media Outreach:

Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and partners to amplify brand awareness. Oversee all public relations efforts, including press releases, media coverage, and event coordination.

Partnership Development:

Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations that align with the brand's goals and values. Manage ongoing partnerships and negotiate new opportunities to drive brand exposure.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and internal data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Provide actionable insights and recommend adjustments to improve future performance.

Collaboration with E-commerce:

Work closely with the e-commerce team to optimize the online shopping experience, drive traffic, and increase conversions through strategic marketing initiatives.

Stakeholder Communication:

Serve as the main point of contact for external marketing agencies and partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
