Position Overview:
The Trade Execution and Reporting Officer (or Trade Operations Analyst) is responsible for supporting the trading activities by ensuring that all trades are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported in a timely manner. This role focuses on managing the post-trade process, ensuring compliance, and providing necessary reports to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile all equity trades executed by the trading team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee the entire trade lifecycle, from execution to settlement, ensuring all trades are processed smoothly.
- Prepare daily trade confirmations and ensure all trade data is properly logged in the system.
- Collaborate with the Head of Equity Trading to resolve any trade discrepancies or settlement issues.
- Generate regular trade reports for senior management, regulatory bodies, and compliance teams.
- Ensure that all trade activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the firm's trading systems and processes.
- Coordinate with external parties such as brokers, exchanges, and custodians to ensure smooth trade settlements.
- Support the compliance team in regulatory filings and audits related to trading activities.
- Continuously improve trade reporting processes and develop new tools for performance measurement and reporting
Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in trade execution, trade support, or operations in an investment firm or financial institution.Strong understanding of equity markets and trade lifecycle.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage trade reporting and reconciliation.Proficiency with trading and reporting systems/platforms.Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to equity trading.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
