Site Engineer Team leader

Job Purpose:


To perform day-to day site work, follow up on all contractor and sub-contractor performance till end of project to ensure the project design applied correctly on time, with safety and quality standards.


Roles & Responsibilities:


• Study zone drawings in order to prepare Material, Equipment and Man-hours requirements list based on project priorities and time schedule.

• Review sub-contractors team performance, guide and report any problems to Site Manager in order to tack necessary actions.

• Handle day-to-day site issues, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.

• Coordinate with Quality Control Department schedule of inspections/tests and take any corrective action if required.

• Prepare daily status report to present zone performance and obstacles need to solve.

• Supervise sub-contractor and labors to ensure all safety & quality requirements are applied in all site activities.

• Review labors’ productivity rates to ensure that it is within the budget.

• Coordinate with other trades to push the work progress & solve any related problems.

• Coordinate with technical office to make sure about the right implementation of the shop drawings on site.

• Gather data, compile reports, and deliver presentations to relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure that employee is working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, and fully aware of his job risk assessment and environmental aspects.


Qualification & Requirements:


Work Experience: 8-10 years’ experience in a related field

Language: Good command of English language

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (preferable)
