The Teacher is responsible for the overall instruction and care for the children in her/his class to help them achieve their utmost potential. S/He will focus on facilitating the development of children’s skills, character and their love for learning. S/He is to follow the educational philosophy and the curriculum outlined by STEAMulation Hub, as well as, its policy and systems. S/He is accountable for ensuring that the personal care, hygiene, learning & development activities, specialized programs, and the positive discipline of the children are all implemented according to our high standards and maintaining our reputation for excellence. S/He will design and provide a stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational environment where children have the opportunity to develop their cognitive, language, social-emotional, physical, and self-help skills. S/He must maintain an ongoing link of communication, verbal & written, with all parents of children in her class making sure to inform them of the progress of their child(ren) and to handle any of their concerns related to the children’s educational and developmental needs. S/He is required to work in collaboration with her classroom co-teacher & teacher aides to achieve her objectives. S/He may need to train, coach and supervise the classroom’s Assistant Teacher or Teacher Aide(s).
