Role Purpose
Build, Operate, Adapt, Deploy, Support and Migrate digital solutions to automate the network operations in E-SOC.
Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership
- RPA Process automation.
- Data Engineering & Monitoring.
- Providing software application support.
- Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.
- Ensuring effective front end and back-end functionality of applications.
- Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
- Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns to the concerned team.
- Keeping record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
- Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics.
- Providing front end support to clients and colleagues in other departments.
Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree in communication / electronics engineering / computer science
Work Experience:
Minimum of 2-7 years; post qualification experience in the telecom applications development field.
Technical skills:
Familiarity with the following areas:
- Java, C#, PHP, Python, VB and R
- Django, JavaScript, Angular, ReactJs
- REST/SOAP API
- IT automation Systems (e.g. Ansible, Micro Focus CMS, Puppet, … )
- RPA (e.g. UiPath, Selenium, …)
- Data Engineering (e.g. Splunk, SSIS, NiFi, Kafka, Flink, Spark, …)
- Modern software development methodologies: Agile, DevOps, TDD and XP, also familiarity with Design Thinking methodology
- Oracle, SQL server, MySQL & MongoDB database engines
- Mobile Network setups and technologies.
Personal skills:
Analytical and interpersonal skills are essential; together with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Special requirements: A good command of written and spoken English is required.
