Job Introduction

service, providing news, current affairs and programmes on Radio, TV and
Online to Arabic speaking audiences in the Middle East and across the
world, 24 hours per day, seven days per week. The output is modern in

religious affiliations or pressures, research and plan deployments
including preparing risk assessments, sharing editorial guidance, fixing

We are recruiting a journalist with planning experience to join our team in Cairo.
Role Responsibility
Reporting to the Newsgathering & Planning
Editor, your role is to help plan news coverage and specific story
projects in the newsroom. You will assist in the commissioning of
stories from Arabic Correspondents and stringers. You will be required
to plan next day events and upcoming news stories. Due to the nature of
the work, you will be required to work flexibly (including weekends).
You may also be deployed at short notice, including hostile
environments.
