Job Description:
As a Technical Office Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of architectural projects by managing all technical aspects. You will work closely with project teams to analyze project documents, prepare procurement plans, and resolve any conflicts that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study project documents, including drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ), to ensure all details are considered during execution.
- Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to the project consultant to obtain missing information and resolve conflicts.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to establish a comprehensive general procurement plan.
- Create a monthly procurement and financial plan to determine site needs for the upcoming month.
- Conduct quantity surveys to estimate the materials required for procurement.
- Support the quantity surveying process to prepare necessary invoices.
- Prepare invoices for subcontractors and clients based on progress reports from the site engineer.
- Manage Variation Orders and prepare Notices to Claim in coordination with the Contracts team.
- Generate periodic reports, such as Quantity Executed Invoices, and distribute them to relevant departments at headquarters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical office role.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong understanding of building codes and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
