Role Description:
This is a senior level position, it is a full-time on-site role as an HSE Coordinator located in Marsa Alam. The HSE Coordinator will be responsible for Health & Safety, Workplace Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Occupational Health, and Safety Training.
- Overseeing safe vehicle operations.
- Operational safety management of remote field work programmes .
- Remote field camp safety management.
- Health and safety standard development and implementation.
- Safety system administration.
- Coordinating emergency response.
- Contractor safety oversight.
- Health and safety performance reporting.
- Health and safety policy development.
- Preparing governmental reports.

Qualifications:- Health & Safety, Workplace Safety, and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) skills.- Occupational Health and Safety Training skills.- Certifications in relevant HSE fields, Tertiary-level OH&S related qualification and driving License.- Experience in conducting risk assessments and investigations.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.- Knowledge of local HSE regulations and standards.- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.- 10 years professional experience in the development and implementation of OH&S programmes, ideally in the mineral resource sector or a similar fields.- Good familiarity with the application of good international practice as it relates to OH&S strategy and standards.- Ability to communicate with management personnel and field teams to articulate fit-for-purpose OH&S plans and procedures .- Good organisational and team-building skills to accomplish shared objectives.- high-level of English competency.Terms:- On site role in the Eastern Desert.- Transport and accommodation provided.- 2:1 work to break ratio with 28 : 14 day roster.- Competitive remuneration package.
