We're hiring A cost accountant for one of our group entities “Great Pyramids INN” Hotel
- Collect cost information and maintain an expense database
- Construct data accumulation systems
- Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent, and insurance)
- Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
- Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and each department)
- Analyze and report profit margins
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly, and annual) cost forecasts
- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing
- Ensure that the Company’s finance resources are most effectively utilized through monitoring production costs.
- Act as the central point for any revision that may become necessary to the stock-taking procedures
- Initiate and propose amendments to existing procedures to meet the continuously changing business needs.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions
4-6 years of work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant, or similar roleThorough knowledge of accounting proceduresIn-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience with accounting softwareComputer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)Excellent analytical skills with attention to detailStrong time management skillsIntegrity, with an ability to handle confidential informationBSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant study
