Key Responsibilities:
- Booking Oversight: Oversee the booking processes for flights, hotels, car rentals, and visas, ensuring that all bookings adhere to company policies and meet client travel requirements.
- Itinerary Optimization: Ensure travel itineraries are optimized for cost-efficiency, time management, and alignment with client preferences.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers to negotiate the best possible rates and services.
- Accuracy Control: Monitor and ensure the accuracy of travel bookings, invoicing, and other travel-related documentation to minimize errors and enhance operational transparency.
- Client Relations: Address client inquiries, concerns, and escalations with a focus on providing swift, professional resolutions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, travel technology advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the department remains competitive and compliant.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the corporate travel operations team to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Operational Management:
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance, ensuring all processes are aligned with business objectives and quality standards.
- Ensure operational excellence by implementing best practices in sales & distribution processes, reporting, and sales team management.
Management Reporting: - Provide regular reports on travel costs, savings, and key performance metrics to senior management, identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Present data-driven recommendations to drive business improvements and maximize revenue opportunities.
Personal Qualities:Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and service excellence.Strong knowledge of GDS systems (e.g., Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre).Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Willingness to travel extensively.Passion for Travel.Education:Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Travel Management or related field.Master’s degree is desirable.IATA certification is mandatory.Experience:10 years of experience in the travel industry within the region.Minimum 5 years in corporate travel management or operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Demonstrated ability to implement and manage operational processes that enhance efficiency and performance.
