Job Title: Trade Marketing Supervisor

Reports To: Trade Marketing Manager.

Job Summary:

The Trade Marketing Supervisor will oversee and execute trade marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth across various retail channels. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, managing trade promotions, and analyzing market trends to ensure effective implementation of trade marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1-Trade Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies and plans in alignment with overall brand and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Trade Marketing Manager to adapt and refine strategies based on market conditions and performance metrics.
     

2-Promotional Activities:

  • Plan, execute, and manage trade promotions, including in-store displays, product sampling, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Coordinate with retail partners to ensure effective execution of promotional activities.

3-Market Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and inform trade marketing strategies.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of trade promotions and adjust tactics as necessary.

4-Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Work closely with sales, product management, and creative teams to ensure alignment of trade marketing initiatives with overall brand strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with retail partners to understand their needs and address any issues related to trade marketing programs.

5-Budget Management:


  •  Develop and manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing spend.

6-Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for trade marketing activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on trade marketing performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

7-Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor junior trade marketing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment within the team.

 

 


Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing or a related field, with a proven track record of successful trade promotions and campaign management.Skills:Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with marketing software/tools.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A keen understanding of retail dynamics and consumer behavior.
