Key Accountabilities: -
Budgets & Plans: -
- Develop and activate the long-term plan for providing medical services and following up CHG policies and procedures.
- Prepare the proposed annual budget for the department according to the hospital's strategy and policies & procedures.
Administrative Responsibilities: -
- providing and following up a safe, rapid and effective and service for patients
- Responsible for setting, developing, evaluating and following up the policies and procedures of the department, in addition to the clinical guidelines are an important part of system of work to ensure the provision of coherent services to the patient.
- Responsible for directly guiding the department staff to improve their performance regularly through development plans for individuals to ensure the level of service is raised.
- Coordinate with the Nursing director and ICU Head Nurse for a continuous improvement of nursing care at ICU.
- Evaluate the performance of the department staff according to the hospital’s approved performance indicators on a regular basis.
- Functional Responsibilities: -
- Supervise the response to Code blue at ICU.
- Responsible for setting the care plan for the patients and their follow up with the ICU team.
- Accountable for review and write reports on disease comorbidity or mortality cases and to present them to the medical director and quality department.
Requirements: -
- Bachelor’s degree in medicine.
- PHD degree in ICU.
- certificate in healthcare management is preferred.
- 10 years of experience.
