Position Overview:
The License and Contracting Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant licensing regulations and contract requirements in the construction sector.
This role involves coordinating the preparation and submission of various licensing documents, ensuring they meet the standards set by the Licenses Department and other regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the policies and objectives of the project management Department effectively.
- Prepare comprehensive files for obtaining validity certificates, and submit them for review and approval by the head of the Department.
- Compile a required documentation for the for necessary approvals.
- Develop and submit files for civil defense licenses for review and approval.
- Prepare project licensing files and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Assemble files for supervision certificates and contractor agreements, presenting them to the head of the head of Department for review.
- Prepare and submit meter application files for review and approval.
- Develop and present files for demolition orders, ensuring all procedures are followed for regulatory compliance.
- Manage the payment of required fees throughout all licensing stages and maintain organized records of receipts and documentation.
- Handle breach of contracts in a timely manner
- Serve as the main liaison with outside contracting representatives
- Develop and implement effective procurement proposals
- Research regulations to ensure contracts are updated and in compliance with laws
- Coordinate with clients to guarantee terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the terms and regulations
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Proven experience in licensing and contracting within the construction industry.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of relevant local regulations and compliance requirements.
