Role Summary
MCC Group's Finance & Accounting Manager is the strategic leader steering the company's financial well-being. As the top finance professional, you'll wear many hats, overseeing all aspects of our financial function and develop & implement a comprehensive financial control framework to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks. This includes accounting, cost management, budgeting, finance, credit control, collections, and tax a comprehensive portfolio ensuring financial stability and supporting business success.
Core Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the team responsible for all accounting functions, including General Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Inventory and Fixed Assets.

Develop and implement a comprehensive financial control framework to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
•
Overseeing the entire accounting cycle to ensure accurate and timely financial statements are prepared according to relevant standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP). This includes managing accounts payable/receivable and fixed assets.

Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements according to IFRS and Saudi Arabian accounting regulations.

Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Managing financial processes, including overseeing the actual vs budget exercise
•
Conduct financial analysis, interpret financial data, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
•
Oversee and monitor project budgets to ensure they meet quoted costs.
•
Ensuring efficient collections by overseeing the collection process and aging report.
•
Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
•
Oversee tax compliance and ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
•
Lead coordination with lending institutions to secure financing and maintain positive cash flow.
•
Develop and implement business development strategies, including financial parameters for customer agreements & funding.
•
Lead the development of long-term financial plans and strategies that support value creation for shareholders.
•
Manage and motivate the finance and accounting team, fostering their professional development and optimizing their performance.
•
Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.

• Financial Control & Risk Management: Leading the development and implementation of a robust financial control framework to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful financial analysis, and collaborating with various departments to develop sound financial strategies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all applicable accounting and tax and zakat regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Team Leadership & Development: Providing strong leadership, motivation, and coaching to the accounting and finance team, fostering their professional development.

• Business Acumen: Demonstrating a strong understanding of the construction industry and its financial drivers.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and CMA/MBA.•Minimum 15 years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably within the construction industry.•Proven track record of successfully managing financial controls and mitigating financial risks.•Experience in developing and implementing financial budgets, forecasts, and reporting procedures.•Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.•Proficiency in accounting ERP (e.g., Odoo, Oracle and AX Dynamics) & financial modeling tools.•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.•Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken
