Responsible for overseeing the calculations, design, planning, and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in construction projects and ensures that all MEP work is executed according to specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure MEP systems are integrated into overall project plans.
- Review MEP designs, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Monitor the installation of MEP systems on-site to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Manage any issues related to MEP systems during the construction phase and present solutions.
- Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals.
- Review and resolve project document issues/conditions.
- Provide technical & administrative information to the others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction.
- Adopt a proactive approach to value engineering throughout the engineering phase.
- Maintaining organized and detailed project records.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.7-10 years of work experience in Construction field & infrastructure utilities networks including, Irrigation system, water supply system, HVAC system, fire fighting system, Sewage System, Water tank & pump room.Strong knowledge of MEP design, codes, and standards.Proficiency in MEP design, engineering, systems integration, and analysis software (AutoCAD, BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, or equivalent software).Certification in MEP systems or project management.Experience in large-scale construction projects.Excellent detail-oriented, time-management, and organizational skills.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
